University - Osteopathic Medical Center
A native Northwesterner, Anne grew up in Federal Way, Washington and did her
collegiate work at Washington State University. During college, she spent time
in Thailand as an exchange student. After graduating with a degree in Zoology
and a minor in Southeast Asian Studies, Anne returned to Thailand and worked for
nearly a year doing biomedical research. She then went to Iowa where she earned
her DO degre and started her education for a Master of Public Health. Her
experiences have prepared her well for her interests in community health,
women's health, and preventative medicine.
Away from work, Anne enjoys travel of all kinds be it to nearby state parks
such as Mount Hood or Mount Ranier for canoeing and camping or to nearby
continents such as Asia for cultural cuisine and canoodling with natives. When
she is actually at home, she lives with her husband, Dan, and their 2 dogs,
Gibbon and Ira.
