University of Washington
The Family Medicine of Southwest Washington residency program is affiliated
with the University of Washington Affiliated Family Practice Residency
Network along with sixteen other programs throughout the Northwest
(Washington, Wyoming, Alaska, Montana, Idaho.) This affiliation enables us to
share resources, problem solving and information, while remaining independent
in designing and implementing our own curriculum and program
styles.
Primary Care:
Southwest and Clark County Physicians have established a network of primary care
sites with the goal of improving the community's access to primary care
providers. In addition to Family Medicine of Southwest Washington this
satellite network of services includes our Healthy Steps Women's and
Children's Center and Family Medicine of Southwest Washington, a full service
family practice that also functions as a training program for family practice
residents. Additional primary care practices are operated by community
physicians in and around the Southwest Washington Medical Center (Southwest)
Campus, Southwest Memorial Health Center, Fisher's Landing, and Salmon
Creek.
