Born and raised in Montana, Tyson has slowly migrated to Vancouver in a
somewhat circuitous route. After attending Gonzaga University in Spokane,
where he met his future wife and received a degree in Biology, he went to Alaska
to live aboard fishing vessels in the Bering Sea as a fisheries biologist.
Working at sea 6-8 months each year allowed him to travel extensively in his
"off time". He has spent over half a year traveling in Europe and put
numerous miles on his hiking boots in the wet Pacific Northwest and the dry
deserts of Utah.
After seven years of working in Alaska, he decided to attend Western
University of Health Sciences in Pomona, California and received a degree in
Osteopathic Medicine. He is especially proud of his training that uses
"hands-on" manipulative techniques. He is excited to be able to be working
in Vancouver, because his wife was raised here and they have been using it as a
"home-base" since graduating from college.
