A native of Santa
Barbara, California, Dr. Ehsani went to the University of California for his
undergraduate studies and majored in Zoology and Cell Biology. He has written
articles for submission to medical journals including behavioral modification of
xenopsilla cheopsis (Oriental Rat Flea) and identification and coupling of
simple neural networks to command databases. Prior to medical school, he worked
in the medical device industry and developed a coronary bypass conduit for which
his employer's sought patent protection. During medical school, Shaun spent a
portion of his studies traveling through the West Indies which allowed him the
opportunity to learn first hand about rural primary care. Outside of residency,
Shaun enjoys sailing, woodworking, and equestrian events.
