INPATIENT MEDICAL AND SURGICAL NURSING SERVICES

Comprehensive medical and surgical inpatient nursing services, including:

Critical care services (Firstenburg Tower):

• Tower 4: Coronary intensive care (CVICU)
• Tower 5: Intensive care unit (ICU)
• Tower 6: Progressive care unit (PCU)

Surgical Inpatient Care (Firstenburg Tower):

• Tower 7: General surgery
• Tower 8: Brain and Spine surgery (neurosurgery), Bone and Joint surgery (orthopedic)

Medical Inpatient Care (92nd Avenue Tower):

• 3 North: Medical, Cancer (oncology), and Palliative Care patients
• 3 South: Medical, Heart monitoring (telemetry) and Respiratory patients
• 4 North: Medical, Heart monitoring (telemetry) and Acute Stroke Care  patients
• 4 South: Pediatric patients and overflow for Medical or Surgical patients

Southwest also provides a full range of Surgery (operating room and related services).
