Today's technologies enable physician to perform many procedures on an outpatient basis. Same Day Services provides both medical and surgical services.

If your physician has scheduled you for a same-day service, you will receive a folder with information. This information covers:

• Registration
• Financial arrangements
• Preparing for your procedure
• Preparing for your comfort, convenience and safety
• Information about the procedure you are having
• Your schedule for the day
• A checklist of things to bring
• Preparing for going home

If your procedure is scheduled in advance, you may be contacted by our team of nurses who help you prepare for your stay with us. You'll have the opportunity to ask questions.

Visitors: Family members are welcome to visit you before and after your procedure. They will be directed to a waiting room where hospital volunteers will keep them informed of your progress during your procedure

If it is necessary for children to be at the hospital, they must be accompanied by an adult and closely supervised at all times.

Food and refreshments: Your relatives and friends may use our cafeteria or Pavilion Café. Espresso service is available at the kiosk in the north lobby. Starbucks coffee and espresso service is available at the Pavilion Café.

Telephones and television: All accommodations include local telephone and television services in your room charge. For those who are deaf or hard of hearing, assistive devices such as TTYs and television closed-caption decoders are available at no charge.
