Eva HosseinIon, M.D.
Dr. Hosseinion has lived in the Pacific Northwest for the last 3 years and has fallen
in love with the scenic beauty and wonderful people. Before making the Northwest
her home, she graduated from medical school at Masaryk University in the
Czech Republic. Eva is Czech; her husband Persian-American; it is no wonder
that cross cultural medicine, working with diverse populations, and learning about
other cultures is her passion. She has recently been working with Russian
patients in Gresham, Oregon where she has had the opportunity to use her
Russian language skills. Dr. Hosseinion embraced Family Medicine because of
its emphasis on the whole person. She enjoys participating in the psychococial aspect
of patients' lives as well as teaching them preventive self-care. Eva
loves traveling to exotic places and has backpacked through Thailand with
her husband. She also enjoys skiing, rock climbing, baking, knitting, and
learning new languages.
