Southwest Medical Group Surgical Specialists offers a wide range of surgical procedures, including laparoscopic surgery for patients with colon cancers, diverticulitis, colon polyps, stomach operations, spleen, hernia repair and solid tumor removal. Our general surgeons are board certified with advanced training in laparoscopic surgery.

In addition to practicing general and laparoscopic surgery, Drs. Leslie Cagle, Paul Dally, and Jay Jan are active in bariatric surgery at the Southwest Bariatric and Weight Loss program.

Steve Matous, MD, is the director of the laparoscopic donor nephrectomy program for the Legacy Transplant Services. He performed the first laparoscopic donor nephrectomy in the Portland/Vancouver area and continues to perform these procedures actively.
