Breast cancer is the most frequently diagnosed cancer among women in the state of Washington. In fact, you probably know someone who has been affected by it. This is one of the reasons why breast health is so personal. You probably know someone who has been affected by it.

Every woman is at risk for breast cancer. In fact, 1 in 8 women will develop it in her lifetime, according to the American Cancer Society. But when breast cancer is caught early, it's easier to treat successfully. From the U.S. government (check out the CDC's podcast) to your personal healthcare provider, experts agree: having a mammogram is the best way to detect breast cancer early.
