- Click on START -> Connect To
- Click on Show button and select:
- Wireless Only wireless connections.
- Is "SouthwestPI" displayed?
- If yes, select it and click on the Connect to a
network button.
- If no, click on the Refresh button.
- If you can still not see "SouthwestPI",
- Click Set up a connection or network.
- Click Manually connect to a wireless network, and then click Next.
- Verify that the SSID or Network name is "SouthwestPI".
- Ensure that Security type is set to No authentication
(Open).
- Ensure that Encryption type is set to No authentication (Open).
- Click Next, then click Connect to
- Double-click the newly created wireless network in the
Connect to a network dialog box.
- Open your internet browser.
- This completes the procedure.
