Primary Care Clinic Opens with New Doctors in Battle Ground

Southwest Medical Group (SMG), a multi-specialty medical group comprised of new and established practices across Clark County, announced the opening today of its new clinic in Battle Ground, WA. The clinic will provide full-service internal and family medicine, including routine check-ups, immunizations, medical evaluations, minor surgical procedures, preventative care and health education. Women's care will be offered later this year as additional physicians join the team.

About the Clinic
Conveniently located at 720 West Main Street, Suite 115, between Walgreens and Ace Hardware, the clinic was designed to deliver high-quality outpatient healthcare services in a friendly, comfortable atmosphere close to home. About the Physicians
Jeff Bowden, D.O.
Dr. Bowden is a graduate of the Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine, Kirksville, MO. He performed his residency at Malcolm Grow Medical Center, Andrews Air Force Base, National Capital Consortium, Washington, DC. Dr. Bowden's areas of specialty include sports medicine, preventative care and primary care. Prior to moving to the SMG-Battle Ground clinic, Dr. Bowden practiced at the Family Physicians Group at Fisher's Landing.
Chong-Yang (Rick) Tan, D.O.
Dr. Tan received his Doctorate of Osteopathic Medicine from Midwestern University, Glendale, AZ. He was a resident at Mesa General Hospital and Mesa Family Medical Center in Mesa, AZ. Dr. Tan's areas of interest include diabetes, treatment of high cholesterol, preventive medicine and mental health. Prior to joining the SMG clinic at Battle Ground, Dr. Tan was the lead physician in a medium-size underserved urban clinic in Tempe, AZ.
