Clinical Manager - Surgery |
- Graduate of an accredited school/college of nursing
- 3 plus years' in surgical and/or appropriate similar setting with 1plus year charge nurse or other leadership experience or may have equivalent combination of education and experience
- WA State RN Licensure
- Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification
- Strong oral, written and interpersonal communication skills
- Analysis/problem solving skills
- Proven leadership skills
- Planning, budgeting and fiscal management
- Ability to work in politically sensitive areas with controversial issues
- Ability to communicate effectively with operating unit and management personnel and to elicit cooperation
- Computer skills: word processing, spreadsheet and data entry
- Performance improvement process skills
- Work requires moderate physical exertion up to 33% of the time with ability to lift objects weighing 50 lbs or less
- Prefer: Bachelor's of Science in Nursing; Bachelor's in business management and/or healthcare management classes; 5 plus years' surgery experience; 2 plus years' leadership experience; Certified Nurse Operating Room (CNOR); Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
