Medical Technologist - Laboratory |
- Bachelor's degree in clinical laboratory science, medical technology or related laboratory sciences field
- 6 months to 1 year in clinical laboratory science or completion of externship at acute care facility or similar externship program in a clinical laboratory setting or equivalent education and/or experience
- American Society of Clinical Pathologists (ASCP), National Certification Agency for Medical Laboratory (NCA), National Credentialing Agency for Laboratory Personnel (NALCP) or equivalent within 6 months of hire
- Good oral and interpersonal communication skills
- Strong medical terminology
- Strong organization skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment independently or as part of a team Must be detail oriented with strong analysis/problem solving skills
- Knowledge of laboratory theory and technique
- Work requires ability to lift objects weighing 30 lbs or less
- Prefer: 6 plus months experience in clinical laboratory
