Many procedures that diagnose and treat heart and vascular conditions are performed by Heart and Vascular Center physicians in one of the medical center's three state-of-the-art cardiovascular angiography laboratories.

Here physicians, specially trained nurses and technicians perform diagnostic procedures to examine your blood vessels and to measure the flow of blood through arteries and veins in your body.

If treatment is necessary, many procedures designed to improve blood flow can also be performed in the laboratory. Other types of procedures can diagnose and treat abnormal heart rhythms.
