Advanced RN Practitioner WA State RN Licensure/ARNP License; Certification: Psychiatric Mental Health Clinical Specialist Masters Degree in Psychiatric - Mental Health Nursing 3-5 years psychiatric experience (may have equivalent combination of education and/or experience).
Anesthesia Assistant Analysis/problem solving, computer, medical terminology, and knowledge of surgical instrumentation procedures Specialized training of 13 to 24 months as an OR Technician or Central Processing Technician 1 year central processing experience with hospital. (or may have equivalent combination of education and/or experience).
Anesthesia Assistant/LPN WA State LPN Licensure Specialized training of 13 to 24 months 1-3 years (or may have equivalent combination of education and/or experience).
Bereavement Counselor Certification appropriate to degree Masters Degree in Counseling, Social Work or a related field plus training in grief counseling issues special to children, adolescents and adults. 1-3 years experience including one year working with children, adolescents and families and one year working with grief issues. (or may have equivalent combination of education and/or experience).
Bio-Med Imaging Tech I Strong analysis/problem solving skills; oral/written communication skills; medical terminology; and knowledge of bio-engineering, bio-electronics electronics and instrumentation. Associate's in biomedical technology 1-3 years (or may have equivalent combination of education and/or experience).
Bio-Med Imaging Tech II AAMI Certification Associate's in biomedical technology 1-3 years (or may have equivalent combination of education and/or experience).
Bio-Med Tech I Strong analysis/problem solving skills; oral/written communication skills; medical terminology; and knowledge of bio-engineering, bio-electronics electronics and instrumentation. Associate's in biomedical technology 1-3 years (or may have equivalent combination of education and/or experience).
Bio-Med Tech II AAMI Certification Associate's in biomedical technology 1-3 years (or may have equivalent combination of education and/or experience).
Inpatient Rehab Ancillary WA State License as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA), certification by American Occupational Therapy Certification, Inc. Associate's degree from accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program 0-6 months (or may have the equivalent combination of education and/or experience).
Chief - CRNA's WA State RN License and ARNP/CRNA Certifications Master's degree in Anesthesiology 5-10 years (or may have equivalent education and/or experience).
CT Technologist ARRT and WA State Licensure as a Radiology Technologist Associate's degree or 25 to 36 months of training in Radiology 1-3 years as an ARRT (or may have equivalent combination of education and/or experience).
CT/MRI Technologist ARRT and WA State Licensure as a Radiology Technologist Associate's degree or 25 to 36 months of training in Radiology 1-3 years in CT or MRI (or may have equivalent combination of education and/or experience).
CT Scanner ARRT and WA State Licensure as a Radiology Technologist. Current CPR certification. Associate's degree or 25 to 36 months of training in Radiology 3-5 years in CT (or may have equivalent combination of education and/or experience).
CVAD Coordinator RN or ARRT or CPT or CVT, ACLS eligible. Associate degree or specialized training of 13 to 24 months 1-3 years
Cancer Clinical Research Asst Intermediate computer database skills; ability to review data and report appropriately; good analytical ability; good oral, written and interpersonal communication skills. Associate degree or 25 to 36 months of training 1-3 years research experience (or equivalent education and/or experience).
Cancer Research RN WA State RN Licensure, OCN certified or ability to achieve within 1 year, current driver's license, proof of automobile insurance. Associate's degree or 25 to 36 months of training in Nursing 6 months to 1 year (or may have equivalent combination of education and/or experience).
Cardio-Pulmonary Tech National certification or registration as a Cardiopulmonary Technologist; ACLS eligible Associate's degree or 25 to 36 months of training in Cardiopulmonary Technology 0-6 months (or may have the equivalent combination of education and/or experience).
Cardio-Vascular RN WA State RN Licensure, ACLS Certification, BLS Certification Associate's degree or 25 to 36 months of training in Nursing 1-3 years (or may have equivalent combination of education and/or experience).
Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist RCIS, ACLS eligible, BLS eligible, WA State Health Care Assistant eligible Associate's degree or 25 to 36 months training as a Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist 0-6 months (or may have the equivalent combination of education and/or experience).
Cardiovascular Rad Tech ARRT, ACLS eligible, WA. State Health Care Assistant eligible and Radiographic Technologist Licensures Associate's degree or 25 to 36 months training in Radiology Technology 0-6 months (or may have the equivalent combination of education and/or experience).
Case Management Coordinator WA State RN Licensure, WA State driver's license Associate's degree in Nursing 1-3 years hospital case management, UM, UR, discharge planning experience.
Certified Occupational Therapy Asst WA State License as a Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA), certification by American Occupational Therapy Certification Board, Inc. Associate's degree from accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program 0-6 months (or may have the equivalent combination of education and/or experience).
Certified Nursing Assistant WA State Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Up to 12 months training after high school or GED equivalent 0-6 months (or may have the equivalent combination of education and/or experience).
Certified Nurse Midwife WA State RN Licensure; AND; Certificate in Nurse-Midwifery; ARNP License; ACNM Certification; eligible as Associated Member of Southwest Medical Staff Specialized training beyond nursing degree 3-5 years (or may have the equivalent combination of education and/or experience).
Chemical Dependency Counselor Qualified or certified chemical dependency counselor (CDC/CCDC I) in WA State. Valid driver's license. Bachelor's degree in behavioral sciences, social work, nursing sciences or a related field 5 years experience in mental health/chemical dependency field
Clinic Coder RHIT Associate's degree or 25-36 months of training in Health Information Management 1-3 years in a physician's office (or may have equivalent combination of education and experience).
Clinic LPN WA State LPN License, BLS Certification Specialized training of 13 to 24 months 1-3 years of recent family practice/primary care/urgent care clinic experience (or may have equivalent combination of education and/or experience).
Clinic RN WA State RN Licensure, BLS certification Associate's degree in Nursing 1-3 years current RN experience in Family Practice including OB and Pediatrics
Clinical Dietetic Tech American Dietetic Association Registration (not required if possess Bachelor's degree in Good and Nutrition). Associate's degree or 25 to 36 months of training in Dietetic Technology 0-6 months (or may have the equivalent combination of education and/or experience).
Clinical Dietitian Registration eligible with the American Dietetic Association Bachelor's degree in Dietetics 0-6 months
Clinical Education Coordinator WA State RN Licensure Bachelor degree in Nursing 1-3 years (or may have equivalent combination of education and/or experience).
Clinical Educator WA State RN Licensure, department specific certifications BSN degree or registration in Baccalaureate program encouraged within one year of hire 5-10 years nursing experience with a minimum of 4 years recent acute care experience (or may have equivalent combination of education and experience).
Clinical Manager WA State License in Nursing Graduate of an accredited school/college of nursing 3-5 years in medical/surgical unit (or may have equivalent combination of education and experience) with 1 year leadership
Clinical Resource Manager WA State RN Licensure Bachelor's degree in Nursing Combination of 3-5 years nurse management and/or HR experience
Clinical Specialist - Pharmacy WA State Pharmacy License and ASHP Accredited Pharmacy Residency Pharm D degree, ASHP Residency Program 3-5 years (or equivalent combination of education and/or experience).
Community Health Nurse WA State RN Licensure Associate's degree or 25 to 36 months of training in Nursing 1-3 years in maternal/child or community health (or may have equivalent combination of education and experience).
Community Health Worker Provision of health and/or social services High school graduate or equivalent 1 year

Coordinator - Crisis Intervention WA State Certification Mental Health Counselor, Social Worker, or Marriage and Family Therapist, Basic Life Support (BLS) Master's degree (or equivalent) in psychology, social work, counseling or nursing 1-3 years (or may have equivalent combination of education and/or experience).
Crisis Intervention Specialist WA State Certified Mental Health Counselor, Social Worker, or Marriage and Family Therapist Master's in social work, counseling, or psychiatric nursing or BSN with psychiatric certification 3-5 years of practice in the Social Service, Counseling, or Crisis Intervention field(s) with an emphasis on management of the patient with complex psychosocial issues; 3-5 years of nursing in an inpatient psychiatric setting, or a combination of education and/or experience
Critical Care Technician Certification in Phlebotomy Up to 12 months training after high school 6 months to 1 year (or may have equivalent combination of education and/or experience).
CRNA WA State RN License and ARNP/CRNA Certifications Master's degree in Anesthesiology 3-5 years (or may have the equivalent combination of educationand/or experience).
Cytotechnologist ASCP Certification Specialized training beyond bachelor degree in Cytology with degree in Biology, Medical Technology or related field 1-3 years experience (or may have equivalent combination of education and/or experience).
Diagnostic Imaging RN WA State RN Licensure, ACLS Certification, BLS Certification Associate degree or 25 to 36 months of training in Nursing 1-3 years (or may have equivalent combination of education and/or experience).
Director - Critical Care WA State RN License (Preferred) Master's degree in Nursing, Business Administration, Hospital Administration or related field 5-10 years (or may have equivalent education and experience).
Director of Emergency Services WA State License in Nursing Bachelor's degree in Nursing or Hospital Administration 5-10 years (or may have equivalent combination of education and experience).
Director of HomeCare WA State RN License (Preferred) Bachelor's degree in Nursing 5-10 years experience in home health management (or may have equivalent combination of education and experience).
Director - Inpatient Surgical Services WA State RN License BSN required (or working to achieve degree) 5-10 years (or may have equivalent combination of education and experience).
Director - Maternity Services WA State RN License (Preferred) Master's degree in Nursing, Business Administration, Hospital Administration or related field 5-10 years (or may have equivalent combination of education and experience).
Director - PAASS WA State RN License BSN required (or working to achieve degree) 5-10 years (or may have equivalent combination of education and experience).
Director - Path/Lab Medicine M.D. or D.O. and board certified in Anatomic and Clinical Pathology Medical degree 5-10 years (or may have equivalent combination of education and experience).
Director of Pharmacy WA State Pharmacist License Master's degree 5-10 years
Discharge Planner WA State LPN License (if LPN degree) Licensed Practical Nursing Degree or Bachelor's in Social Work 3-5 years in a hospital setting
Dosimetrist WA State Radiation Therapy Licensure, ARRT Registry in Radiation Therapy Associate's degree or 25-36 months of training in Radiological Technology or Radiological Therapy 6 months to 1 year in medical dosimetry (or may have equivalent combination of education and/or experience).
EAP Counselor Certified Employee Assistance Professional (Preferred) Master's in Counseling, Psychology, Social Work or equivalent training in Psychiatric Nursing 1-3 years (or may have equivalent combination of education and/or experience).
EKG Technician CPR Certification Up to 12 months training after high school in reading and understanding EKGs 6 months to 1 year (or may have equivalent combination of education and/or experience).
Emergency Dept Technician EDT, Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA); Basic Life Support (BLS); must complete WA State health Care Assistant (HCA) within 6 months of hire Specialized training up to 12 months, in emergency services, or nursing. Phlebotomy, completion of program or equivalent 6 months to 1 year in emergency services or nursing, 0-6 months in phlebotomy (or may have equivalent combination of education and/or experience).
Emergency Nurse Coder WA State RN License; Basic Life Support (BLS) Associate's degree in Nursing 3-5 years of broad-based emergency department experience (or may have equivalent combination of education and experience).
Employee Health Nurse WA State RN License Associate degree or 25 to 36 months of training in Nursing 5+ years medical/surgery nursing. Occupational or Employee health nursing experience strongly preferred (or may have equivalent combination of education and/or experience).
Enterostomal Therapist WA State RN License Bachelor of Science degree in Home Economics and Education, Associate degree in Nursing. Graduation from an Enterostomal Therapy Nurse Education Program 3-5 years as an RN
Exercise Leader CPR, exercise certification (ACE, AFFA, IDEA), aerobic instructor High school graduate or equivalent Up to 12 months training after high school in cardiac rehab
Exercise Specialist BLS, ACLS Bachelor's degree in exercise science 6 months to 1 year in aquatic training
FBC Obstetrical Assistant WA State Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) Up to 12 months job-related course work after high school; completion of departmental OB Assistant training program 0-6 months as CNA in OB (or may have equivalent combination of education and/or experience).
Graduate Occupational Therapist (OT) WA State limited permit, with expectation of sitting for first examination given by American Occupational Therapy Certification Board, Inc. Bachelor's degree in Occupational Therapy Successful completion of OT internship
Hand Therapist - Certified Certified hand therapist and WA State PT or OT licensure Bachelor's degree with specialized training in PT or OT 3-5 years rehab experience
Health Educator N/A Bachelor's degree in a health related field 6 months to less than 1 year experience in an education position
Health Information Facilitator N/A Bachelor's degree - Library Science, Public Health, Health Education or related field desired. Health Information Tech I N/A Job related training after high school, up to 12 months 1-3 years experience in an acute care medical records setting
Health Information Tech II ICD-9 and CPT-4 coding class certificate 12 months specialized training beyond high school (medical office technology) 2-3 years clerical and computer functions; 3 years experience in ICD-9, CPT coding in a hospital setting
Histology Technician HT Registry as a Histology Technician Associate's degree with courses in general biology, anatomy/physiology, math and chemistry; 1 year internship in a hospital Histology Laboratory or an approved Histology program 1-3 years in a hospital histology laboratory
HomeCare Compliance Specialist WA State RN License Associate's degree or 25 to 36 months of training 3-5 years in Home Health and demonstrated knowledge of applicable laws, regulations and standards (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
HomeCare Coordinator WA State RN License Associate's degree or 25 to 36 months of training in Nursing 1-3 years HomeCare experience (or may have equivalent combination of education and/or experience).
