2. Training for supervisors and human resource specialists
An employee assistance program provides training to supervisors and human resource specialists. In support of consultation assistance the EAP provides education for those who supervise others. Such topics as: Alcohol and Drug Awareness Training: When Addictions Come to Work; Working with the Troubled Employee; Traits of the Effective Supervisor; and The Effect of Violence in the Workplace provide supervisors with an overview of relevant subjects and trains the supervisor in the steps to deal with employees around these issues. Solutions provides two major supervisory trainings per year in a central location for all their contracts. We also tailor training topics for individual companies on request.
