—State Association Selects Mark Lehner as Homecare Manager of the Year—
PeaceHealth Southwest's HomeCare Rehabilitation Team Manager, Mark Lehner, has been selected as the Washington State Homecare Manager of the Year. This award is given annually by the Home Care Association of Washington (HCAW). Winners are selected from nominations submitted by Homecare and Hospice agencies throughout the State of Washington.
Lehner was nominated for this award by his Rehab caregiver team members who recognized his ability to inspire others and to help his staff feel valued and appreciated for the worthwhile work they do every day.
"His character and willingness to serve may be equaled but certainly not easily surpassed and it is because of those very traits he is so highly respected by his peers both clinically and in leadership," said Greg Noelck, PT, PeaceHealth Southwest HomeCare.
"From day one, Mark's mission has been to help his staff feel valued and appreciated and to find any and all ways to make our work experience more efficient and enjoyable," said Linda Beagle, OT, PeaceHealth Southwest HomeCare.
HCAW selects the winners from nominations submitted by Homecare and Hospice agencies throughout the state. Lehner wwas presented with his award at a special luncheon in Seattle at the HCAW annual convention on Thursday, April 26.
