Southwest's laboratory provides services to the outpatient, inpatient, and community outreach.

Phlebotomy, Limited Specimen Collection, STAT and Routine Laboratory Testing, Limited EKGs, Drug Screen Collection (limited to PeaceHealth Southwest employees).

Comprehensive Clinical Laboratory and Anatomic Pathology Services. Education and in-service assistance available.

| Community Outreach: |
Comprehensive Laboratory Services, including courier and phlebotomy, provided to physician's offices, long-term care facilities, clinics, and non-profit agencies in the community. |
The goal of the Department of Pathology and Laboratory Medicine is to provide high quality, cost-efficient laboratory services to the hospital and the community.
Southwest Laboratory is licensed as a highly complex laboratory and maintains accreditation with the following agencies:

- American Association of Blood Banks
- State of Washington
- JCAHO
- CLIA
